Kennesaw State Fall 2011

Published

I just applied to Kennesaw State's program for Fall 2011. I thought it would be fun to do a roll call to see who else is out there beginning the waiting game!

I also have one final down, but only 4 to go. It's finally D-Day! (Decision Day...haha!)

I think at this point, I just want to know...good or bad. I'm tired of waiting. I applied back at the beginning of December, so this process has been going on for 5 months! Ahhh! I'm going crazy. :banghead: I think even bad news will be some news. lol

D-Day...ha! Love that emoticon.

I am also looking forward to hearing soon. It's been a long journey!

I was hoping to see an email this morning...oh well.

The school does not send out emails. If they send them on Friday, and you live in the metro area, then you should see it on Saturday or Monday.

I got an email for the interview invitation about two days before I got my letter. Did you hear that they sent out the letters yesterday or today?

Nevermind. I guess I forgot to comprehend the first part of the second sentence.

I would love to know if those letters are ready to be dropped in the mailbox.

Letters are going out by th middle of next week! Avg Teas for the Accelerated was 87 & 83 for the traditional. 30 accepted for the accelerated, & 80 for the traditional.

Where'd you get the TEAS info?

Dear BUhockeyfan,

Do you also know what the average cumulative GPAs were for both the traditional and accelerated? Do you know how many people applied to each program? I'd just like to have a better idea of where I placed among all the candidates. It'll give me peace of mind.

Thanks for the info.

I heard 900 candidates applied, and 200 interviewed. If you got an interview, then you have a 50 percent chance to get into the program. I have not heard anything about the GPA, but you need to have done very well in the sciences.

Thanks for the info BUHockeyfan! p.s.- are you from boston? I knew a couple kids from the kennesaw area that used to play hockey at BU-they were both really good!
