Kennesaw State BSN Fall 09

Well, I got my app and transcripts in just under the 1/31 deadline and now I play the waiting game. Anyone else applying for Fall semester? I shooting for both the regular BSN program and the accelerated version. I did really good on the TEAS (91) but my grades leave a lot to be desired (3 A's and the rest are B's), so I'm pretty nervous as to whether I have a chance. :p

I bought the TEAS prep book, and it was pretty helpful. There wasn't a whole lot of studying to do for the reading, just read everything very carefully and double check your answers. All the math you need is covered in the TEAS book. The grammar part also has everything you need in it. The science section was probably the worst because the prep book didn't have everything in it, so I also bought a Kaplan nursing exam review book to brush up on that part. Also take a practice exam online to make sure that you can do the problems quickly enough. Hope this helps, and good luck!

Many thanks to the person who said to study "how an event in our lives influence a change in personal ethics." In the interview they asked that exact question and I was able to nail it! Now all us interviewees have to sit on our hands and play the waiting game. :p

They said in our interview letters that they'll get back to us by the end of April. That's only 4 weeks. I can deal with that.

While the letters said we should know by the end of April, I heard yesterday that Sandi said it could be as late as mid-May. I can handle waiting 2 more weeks...but another month?? Has anyone heard from Fran as to when she thinks the letters will go out?

I was just told that the letters were completed on Friday! They should be arriving some time this week. Good luck to all!

does anyone know how many spots they have for the spring semester (2010) and if they look at program gpa or over-all gpa
