Has anyone applied to the Keiser University Accelerated BSN for the January 2019 cohort? I applied to the Orlando campus.

I would also recommend taking Chemistry and going for the BSN. I just finished the Accelerated BSN at the Orlando campus. Keiser allows you to take Chemistry through Portage Learning if the Chemistry schedule doesn't work out with your nursing schedule. I was able to take Chemistry over the holiday break last year and finish it in about 3 weeks through Portage. Let me know if you have any other questions ?

Goo idea and thank you for your feedback. Yeah I guess it depends on if they accept me for fall term or Winter term. I will be done with my sciences in Summer all but Chemistry. I have a

master in education and a BS in human development. So I’m thinking just get my ADN work find help to pay for my RN to MSN and skip the BSN .

thank you for you feedback and I’m very happy to you and everyone who have passed the NCLEX and working out their in the front line. Bravo!

Thank you for your feedback. No real medical background. Was a special ed teacher is a lifeskills class. We tube fed, changed, positioned changed, and was medications trained.

in-was also thinking to get my ASN get in the out in the field work then go strain for my MSN instead of BSN since I already had A BS But not in nursing .

Do you plan on returning to your home state after ? Makes sense to do the ASN program. Research all options as many MSN programs require bridge clases for nurses without BSN so just weigh out the time.

Thanks and yes, that’s the plan? and yea you’re right, Capella Online already said they would accept the RN and all my other coursework for the MSN. No need to get a BSN when I already have a bs. So like you said timing is everything and that’s my longterm goal. For now I just need to get in and start ?
also my sister-in-law who is a CRNA she advised me to just go strait for the MSN as well. Shes crazy smart tho and has her doctorate, I’m no where near her smarts ? she is the one I’d be living with in Fort Lauderdale with my brother for the program. Otherwise I wouldn't even entertain the idea without their support. From what I have read, the program is super intense and I haven’t had any of the fundamentals or pharmacology, I’m a virgin ?

are you working now as an RN in Florida?

Good luck with everything! Study diligently and def make a few friends to form a reliable study group. We split up the chapters and made study guides and would get together and quiz one another on our respective chapters. I couldn’t have made it through without them.

yes currently working thank god!

Thanks for the tips. So glad you’re working. Yeah I’m just trying to get through these Ap classes and micro this Summer . Then done with my pre rec science. So much in AP1,2 ? thanks for the encouragement . Today was a rough week of studying, lack of motivation, learning about the remodeling of bone tissue is not so interesting to me as was the skin ?

Did you get in? Like you Im in my 40s finishing up a few classes looking to make a career change. I plan on applying to the Ft. Lauderdale campus. Im going to go for ASN.

The ASN and accelerated BSN are the same amount of time (16 months) and money. If you are able to handle a heavier course load, I'd recommend the BSN.

I did get into Keiser, chamberlain and ICHS . I am planning on starting at ICHS in October , Keiser will be a back up plan , I don’t want to move full time to Florida from Portland , Oregon. . Good luck, you can do it. And yes, Keiser BSN is a good gig. Same time and money. Pre req- you will need to have Chemistry is the difference. And take an entrance exam.

Question, Has anyone gotten accepted to Keiser Orlando’s ASN program who didn’t quite meet the recommended score on the TEAS test?
