How much is the program?

I did all my pre req at Scf so I'm looking at around 24k for the program not includi financial aid, grants and scholorships

I am actually looking to gain admission into the nursing core program with a start date of either Sept 2014 or Jan 2015, hoping I can study and pass my teas soon to be admitted :) How has your experience been with the school and the program? I am taking my prereqs now at the Lakeland campus (I only needed a&p 1-2 and microbio!

Specializes in Oncology.

I'm about to graduate from Keiser but in PSL. Its been a tough ride - meaning since its accelerated and smashed into a 16month program with very few breaks, it is tough - totally doable though!! I have two babies (1 and 2 y/o) and a great support network. My clinicals have been good and bad and I think that comes with all schools. We have had GREAT opportunities to experience many different areas in the hospital. We have seen many things and our teachers really push us to be very educated nurses. My campus' NCLEX pass rate is high. They really prepare you for taking the NCLEX as well as being a nurse in the real world. I wouldn't change my decision ever. I have really had an impressive experience at Keiser.

I'm looking to attend Keiser Jacksonville nursing core Sept 2014 I still have algebra and micro to complete in the summer but what was your teas score?

Btw..thanks for making this tread since it hasn't been any recent treads on keiser.

Hey guys been in the program for 2 month total shock to my system I'm usually an A student and things arnt going so seemingly had a c and b on my first test cause I was never use to testing like this look over nclex question and see the phrasings and see how they want you to think it's not like other test were you memorize and answer but my second one I got an a and a b so I'm improving in those 2 months I quit my job and ended a relationship it's a lot and keiser has a good rep in Sarasota so that's great last class has a 100% nclex passing grade which is almost to be expected cause the last semester uo have to turn in 3000 nclex questions

my teas score where all low 90s you don't have to take them all at once so I did the readings together and the math and science together just study from the teas book from ati and you will pass don't over do it with other study material .

also I have gotten and working on scholorship opp cause school is around 9k and pell grant isn't that helpful here maybe I get 2k of goverment assistance

Which campus do u attend ?

Anyone starting in the fall (September) for nursing core? We have a workshop August 1,4,5,&6! I'm very excited and nervous!

Has anyone attended the evening program??? Whats the schedule like?? Are you allowed allowed to have a night shift for core classes or is it mandatory for morning shifts? I have a meeting monday not sure if my credits will transfer. Also did anyone do their pre reqs online? Were you allowed to do more then one class at once? Sorry for all the questions

We only have a daytime program for nursing core. You can take your prerequisites during the day, online or at night (at night some are two months long instead of 1). You may take more than one class at a time but you'll need to go to the dean and talk to them and fill out papers. I would not recommend taking 2 classes at a time though because they are fast paced. You will take 4 prerequisites per semester- just like any other college. I have orientation August 1 so I'll try to post more information about nursing core then!

What classes are you talking about transferring?

I have 15 credits total which are in biology, english, math, Humanties, and psychology 3 credits each also because i massage therapy skin care and electrology i have over 13.47 credits in A&P
