How much at Keiser in Orlando Tuition for RN (2 years), i am from St.Pete, we have too Keiser Nursing program, I sent them my request info 3 days ago, will see what happen. thanks in advance. And i went already to Galen Nursing School very expensive 35.000 $ 2 years RN, LPN- 17.000

WOW! that is very expensive for a vocational degree (LPN) and for an associate's RN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would pay that much for a university level degree- but not for an AS that I would have to go back to school for BSN.

NOVA was $40K for the 2 years but you get a BSN at the end of the program.

Hi I am a teacher and really want to make a career change! Here's my story...

About a year ago I was leisurely taking science classes at Miami Dade and dropped a few. I passed a&p1 with A and B and then withdrew from the next set of courses. i didnt know Dade doesn't admit you to their Assoc in Nursing program bc of this rule. So now all the other schools in Miami for nursing are Full time like fiu, barry etc. and i still have to work full time! The only hope I have left is Keiser and I heard they are expensive but I'm willing to pay since once I get the RN I can take online classes to advance my career and I'm sure I'll figure out repaying of loans.

I live in kendall so the keiser kendall branch is best but do they offer part time coursework in evenings? I see it's provisionally accredited and I checked the FBON site and in the last NCLEX-RN administration 13 out of 18 students passed average score 72 I think. SO i figure thats not bad and this might be my only option for an RN since I have to work FT.

Im going to call Keiser now and see if they can give me info over the phone. HELP! Will I have to pay alot of money upfront or can student loans cover this?

why don't you try Broward Community College Online course- that is for people who have careers like you & need something that they don't have to attend class to. You only have to go to school for clinicals once a week, then everything else is online.

I went to the traditional generic program

but my co-worker was a social worker and did the online program at BCC and she liked it, no complaints from her. she said she got a B online one time, then she A'ced through the program.

The pass rates for the nclex need to be above 80% to be accredited- remember UM's program dropped to 72% and they lost their accreditation.

If I were you I would definitely look into BCC-online

i'm thinking about keiser orlando only thing is the financial aid. you see i already have a ba degree (in something not medical/nursing related). not sure if i can get financial aid loans for my pre-reqs or core classes. i know at valencia comm. college i couldn't even get loans for my pre-reqs! has anyone had this come up or know of anyone in this situation? advice?
