Hello everyone! I am currently trying to apply to KCC Fall 2018 LPN program. This is my second time applying for the program and wanted to see how competitive the program will be this year. If you are planing on applying as well, please post your stats below. Thank you for your participation! :)

Nurse Aide work experience for about 4 months

Congrats on getting accepted! Does that mean they opened a spot for you for Lpn ? It really depends on what you want to do. I hope the best for you! :)

Thank Jazzy 321, No they have not had any slot for me and i got to wait until June 29th for getting accepted or denial . and Respiratory Care program is starting in July 2th and its orientation date is going to be the same date as LPN orientation as well .

Oh I see, well at least you have options so if things don't go as planed with Lpn you still have RC.

Hi anna,

Can you please tell me the stats you put in for the RCp program and your personal experince in applying for that program? Unfortunately,I was not able to apply bc I did not attend the Health Sciences Session, all my pre reqs were finished,for now Im focused in LPN spring application.

I applied for RT just for my backup plan from LPN so really do not have much experiences in applying . I just went to RT counselors and they told me from there what did I need to do for the program . I hope it help you a bit .

All my pre -requisites are As but one B for Eng 100

and I am working as NA and volunteered at Kapiolani Medical Center .

Anna,

Right now my focus is on the LPN application,but I will put in my application for RT next cycle in case I dont get in for LPN.Did they tell you there if it is competitive to get in at RT?I have 3 "B" for the RT pre reqs.(Chem,141,& micro 130).Give me your email so I can keep in touch once you start Rt program?

Nurse or RT doesnt matter,I just wanted something as soon I get out of the Navy.
