Congrats on getting accepted! Does that mean they opened a spot for you for Lpn ? It really depends on what you want to do. I hope the best for you! :)

How many students are usually accepted? Update: I called the nursing program regarding my letter and they said It's still possible for me to get accepted into the program. Fingers crossed

Hey Marie please lmk if they also emailed you confirming your NA work experience. I got my letter in saying I wasn't accepted but needed to confirm my NA experience and turn in a letter to the nursing department by June 15.

Not to sure but it depends on your rank, so if you're higher up the alt list then the higher chance you'll get accepted.

Yeah, that's alright though at least you had experience with moana cottage so that's a plus! I hope a spot opens up for you though! :)

No they did write a letter for me however the nursing department did not accept my experience with them because it was homecare instead of a facility. Also if you googled SNF/ICF accredited facilities in Hawaii Willson is not listed however your other job with moana cottage was listed.

I personally would not recommend Willson only because they did not accept my experience with them. I would find a SNF/ICF accredited NA job.

I recently got a job at Palolo Chinese Care Home so I should be ok for next application period. They sent a second letter saying to confirm my old NA job with Willson and turn in by June 15 however willson does not comment on performance.

Update: I received my letter in today and did not get in. Seems they are really strict about where you had your work experience and needs to be in a hawaii state approved facility or need to fulfill the 135 hr CNA class.

Hi everyone! I called the nursing department and they confirmed that they sent out letters yesterday so we should be getting them soon. If we haven't sent a self address envelope with our application then emails will be sent out on Monday. Good luck to you all!
