Hello everyone! I am currently trying to apply to KCC Fall 2018 LPN program. This is my second time applying for the program and wanted to see how competitive the program will be this year. If you are planing on applying as well, please post your stats below. Thank you for your participation! :)

That's great! I wish I've done that instead, I would've saved so much time and money.. and that's alright. The count down begins, it's almost the end of the month

Hi everyone! I called the nursing department and they confirmed that they sent out letters yesterday so we should be getting them soon. If we haven't sent a self address envelope with our application then emails will be sent out on Monday. Good luck to you all!

Update: I received my letter in today and did not get in. Seems they are really strict about where you had your work experience and needs to be in a hawaii state approved facility or need to fulfill the 135 hr CNA class.

Jazzy321 Where are you currently working?

I'm applying at castle hospital. They are accepting applications and you do not need to be a CNA so NA is are welcome.

I recently got a job at Palolo Chinese Care Home so I should be ok for next application period. They sent a second letter saying to confirm my old NA job with Willson and turn in by June 15 however willson does not comment on performance.

I didnt get in also because i dont have any NA experience. But im starting at endoscopy center in pearl city as a nurse aide on monday and will get 200+ hrs by the next deadline so fingers crossed.

I got my nurse aide course done last year at health care school of hawaii. And its state approved. I just need the experience. :(
