Hi everyone!

I submitted my application last month and I'm really nervous because of my low TEAS score. Some people that I know (who applied last semester) told me that they didn't get accepted because of their low TEAS score so I'm really scared right now. :unsure: I finished all my pre-requisites already and just finishing up one more co-requisite. Please comment if you applied for the ADN program for FALL 2016 or [are] still planning to apply next semester. Hope we can share thoughts and ideas here.

Quick update from me - I have been ALT listed for Fall! It's a long story, but an admin mix-up caused my application to get denied based on my residency status. Once the error was realized my application was re-ranked and my status updated. I am going to be at oritentation next week - anyone else from this thread going too?

Jaydgyrl - I took 142 from Dunn last year. I was a very rigorous class. I worked my tail off and got an A. I think As are doable in his class if you can put in the hours of work that he requires. There is a ton of extra credit, so lower test scores can be overcome (that's what saved me). Hope that helps!

Yay, littlebear'smama!!! I knew something was not right with those amazing stats. I will be going to the orientation! I'm hoping a lot of people applied to both KCC and MANOA and are opting to go to MANOA so we can all of us alternates get in! I will see you at orientation

Eilleenm - I will look for you at orientation next Friday. Thanks for the message back, and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for all of us. I figure either way I will be happy. I love my new job at Castle, so an extra few months to get more work experience there would also be great. Of course, the chance to start nursing school would send me over the moon (:

I am just wondering how soon did the nursing department send out the notification that they received my application.

I am just so nervous about the application. Just want to make sure they received it. I am not sure if I should call them or what. But getting an insight from you guys will help a lot.
