Kaplan vs. Saunders

Published

I am using both the Saunder's book and CD, and the Kaplan self-study program. I do really well on the Saunder's questions, but horribly on the Kaplan questions. NCLEX uses different levels of questions- are Kaplan's questions on a higher difficulty level than Saunder's?

I did Saunder's (and Suzanne's study program) and it was way harder than the actual NCLEX questions. I passed at 75.

I found the opposite -- I found Saunders questions to be easier than the real NCLEX questions. I always did well with Saunders and the NCLEX I did the "wow" thing throughout the test. I did pass with 75 though. Saunders does great content review, and as long as you understand the material and rationale behind the questions/answers you should do fine.

As long as it gives the positive results then it's ok.
