Hey guys,
I took trainer test 6 a couple days ago and got a 64%. I took trainer test 7 and got a 50%...but it was so damn long and half way through I got tired of it and kind of rushed most of the questions...especially the ones where you had to read the most.
It honestly made my head hurt. I also felt like the questions were harder then 6.
Would you guys recommend I try to take it again, or should I just go over the rationales at this point?

I would go over the rational and understand what you got wrong. I wouldn't redo it. If I was you I would take breaks when you take a long exam. I did not score to get on my question trainer 7. I got 59%. I been struggling to get 60s on my trainer.
This is what I did for trainer 6 and I did well. I figured I would take it in one sitting - but that ended in a headache - staring at a comp screen for 5 hours. lol. Ty for the response.

Isn't it crazy how in school we're always seeking "A's" but for these Kaplan tests, we're told getting 60's is terrific?
Screwy.
Hang in there :)

lol, it does seem quite fishy...but my 50 has not lowered my confidence...just wanted to know whether its worth taking over again, or just go straight to rationales...since that's where the meat of the studying is.

I would just go over the rationales. I kept a notebook nearby and wrote down topics to review (with check boxes), because sometimes, I would just come across something that I really needed to review. If you were to take it again, you'd remember answers from before.
I know I got burnt out on #6, but planned better for #7.

I agree, study the rationales. What helped me was retaking the readiness test. You have to call Kaplan to get them to unlock it, and do it without going back through the rationales so that you don't skew results by memorizing.
I was really upset at my 50% and decided to retake it...I got a 57%...I could have totally gotten a 60, had I not second guessed at some.
I feel a little better now...just need to keep the anxiety at bay and keep a clear head.
Time for rationales now!
