Hey, I have the kaplan strategies book but I read it about a month ago. I only read the strategies option and left the review part. I am now studying my Saunders for content and after a certain group of topics, I go back to kaplan to read the reviw on it. I forgot some of the strategies since I read it about a month ago and just started my Saunders, but I plan on going through it again. What I realise from practising questions is that you learn alot. One of my girlfriends used the kaplan and she passed after about 3 weeks of intense studying. People have also commented on how wonderful the Saunders book is and I will tell you, they are not kidding. The book really is wonderful.

Just finished my 1st book for my nclex review which is kaplan's strategy book and took the 265 exam and I got 162 which is around 61% i think. So i felt like OMG, am I ready for this battle?!?! I just looked into the brighter side since I havent read anything from my saunders book which is for my content review. But then again, it is still so low and need to practice critical thinking skills and study contents more. Some of the questions there were familiar to me, but the point is, i still got confused with the choices A and B. For example, I already chose letter A, and then once I read the question again, i changed it into B and sadly, my first instinct is the correct answer. So I know I really need to work hard for this. Im planning to enroll at Kaplan On demand review course by april. And by that month, gonna start reading my saunders and answer tons of questions.
I just need to know if that score is a super lil bit fine, I mean, Am I stupid or bobo to get that score?! Do I really need to study longer as in 5 months or more to get good grades? I hope not. My anxiety is starting to increase. O_o And yes, I know I really really need to work harder and get higher than this. Im not saying that I'm afraid or what. I dont wanna be negative. I want to be more positive!! I dont wanna stress myself thinking that this grade is not good because I'm not good. I just wanna know your experience guys about getting grades such as this and passing the actual exam. I know Im not that ready, this is just a start. And I promise I will really work hard on this. :)
