My diagnostic was 57%
My readiness was 60%
I took the class.
Took a week off.
Started studying about a week ago, reviewing the content I scored most poorly in.
QT1: 56%
QT2: 50%
QT3: 54%
QT4: 61%
QT5: 62%
QT6: 60%
havent taken 7 yet!
My average for Q bank is 56%, but I've only finish 54% of the questions.
My most recent Q bank scores average in the 60s, including the highest I have gotten yet, a 66!
I'm not stressing, I see anything about 55 and I'm happy.
Am I in denile?

Those are real similar scores that I and others that attended the review with me got, and we all passed.
Keep doing the qbank, but I limited the amount I did a day, to help limit my distress over the scores. Even though it's long, do qtrainer #7 (i did it over 2 days) Also, keep reviewing the content you are weakest in.
Take the afternoon before your test off and relax, do something fun, go to a movie, run, a hot bath, whatever works for you.
That is what worked for me and others i work and graduated with.
Good luck!!! You'll do great!

what should be the scores in kaplan QT? what cd do you use to know the readiness and the diagnostic?
I had finished all the saunders 4.2k and now im doing the question trainer.. i still have 3 weeks to take the test. what can you guys advise?
my scores are:
QT1-44
QT2-61
QT3-59
QT4-58
can you help me with this... i really need your help guys... im so desperate to pass...
Yeah, I think we are all desperate to pass! Kaplan suggests to aim for 65 on QT 1-5 and 60 on 6 and 7. They also suggest 60% on all your Q banks. Personally I think they are just setting the standard, and I aim for anything above 55%.
You have to remember Kaplan has a 94% pass rate, and so does my nursing program (so it's helpful to know your schools pass rate). And they offer a money back guarentee. So knowing out of every 100 people only 6 fail can be reassuring. Also I believe of all people to take nclex 85% pass and 15% fail. The nclex is completely unpredictable, I think we all need some numbers to make us feel better!
I think your scores will get better if you keep at it. Honestly, they aren't bad now!

i took the tests twice and i all got above 90 obviously bacause ive alraedy seen the questions... would that be effective or should i try other tests to practice my skills
what if you take the test 2nd time around and you got 90s because youre already familiar with the questions would that be effective?

Keep doing the Qbank questions!! If it's possible I would try to finish those before you take the NCLEX. Also if I were you I would take Qtrainer 7 as soon as you can, maybe even today. From what I've heard, NCLEX is most like Qtrainer 6 and 7. I took Qtrainer 7 on Thursday, got a 61%, and was a little disappointed, so I plan to retake the test the day before the NCLEX. I tried to take Qtrainer 7 all at once, with the exception of a bathroom break. I did this because for all I know I may get all 265 questions on the NCLEX and I feel like one of the hardest parts of studying for me is being able to sit down for a couple hours and focus on one thing! I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX on July 1st so I def. feel your pain.
Just keep doing those questions, read the rationales and I'm sure you'll do great!! Keep us posted!!
It certainly would reinforce important information. On the Q banks you can opt to only review the questions you got wrong.
im just using the kaplan question trainer... in what cd is the question bank located

I'm in the same boat. I test the second week of July and am extremely nervous. I've been doing the Qbank and Qtrainers. I am gearing up to take Q7 this weekend.
Diagnostic - 63%
Qtrainer 4 - 63%
Qtrainer 5 - 62%
Qtrainer 6 - 66%
Qbank average - 59%
I too am hoping that these scores are good enough to pass on the first time. I am so afraid of failing, all of my classmates that graduated in December passed the first time so I am hoping that our school prepared us well.
Good luck to everyone!!
My scores are in the same range. People who have taken NCLEX tel me that it doesnt matter how you score, what matters is that you undertstand why you got it wrong, such as that you didnt know content...or you didnt identify topic...or you didnt use the strategies right...In my case, its I dodnt know the content...Anyone else have this problem??? DO you get the answers wrong because you dont know material????
I would recommend doing qbank over, that is what I am doing know...My scores went up from a 63 to 66...my test is next week so wish me luck!!! and good luck to all of you...
Good luck!! I don't know if it is content or interpretation of some of the questions. All I know is that on my question trainer it says at the bottom:
Application - 69%
Analysis - 58%
Whatever that means :).
