  1. I certainly will be working in Baltimore! I thank everyone who encouraged me and supported me through this tough times, your kind words meant more than you know!:redbeathe:heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat
  2. Just to let anyone who is wondering know, I got the job offer anyway! I then had to choose between two jobs I really felt could be my dream jobs, both with incredibly different qualities. One had better pay, one had better hours; one had a better orientation, one had a faster advancement. One had a younger population; one had a variety of populations with a specific disorder. Both in the specialty I love, both with great benefits and pay (no matter if one is a little more). In the end I went with the population of patients, orientation length, and opportunity to further my education.. I am officially a Johns Hopkins Nurse, with the patient population and new grad orientation/education of my dreams! Even after missing my interview I was able to reach this amazing opportunity. This is my inspiration to all those who fear the future, don't take chances, or debate on whether to follow your dreams. I inspire everyone to go for the gold and don't let anyone stop you on your path to success!:redbeathe:heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat
  3. What type of facility does a holistic nurse work in? If you are just a holistic nurse in say a med/surg or psych floor, would you be given a chance to use the knowledge you gained? Or is the certificate where it ends?
  4. They sure do, in my area I have been offered a job at a small psych facility as well as have an upcoming interview with a rather large hospital with a psych wing that is bigger than the entire facility I have been previously offered a job. I just passed my nclex, so I'm as new as they get! Both offers are for child/adolescent psych units. The possibilities are endless!
  5. Weren't there a bunch of people taking their NCLEX June 1st? How do you feel potential RNS!
  6. I mean do 5 in all one sitting, and don't do any other questions or studying the rest of the day. And for two or three days get some qbanks and content reviews in, and then take the next test on a new day, all in one sitting. Just keep at it! You will be fine!
  7. My advice would be not to stress! You have three weeks! You need to pace your question trainers. Do 5 in three days, 6 in three days, and 7 in three days. Read your rationales, and make sure you understand it. Your scores will go up and down, 48 is only 2 away from 50, think positive. I had the same scores and I passed! It is all about the attitude. Kaplan is all you need to study. Pay attention to the subjects you do worst in, take the worst subject for you on QT 4 and review all the concept and questions on the study center online. Then do all the Qbank questions for that subject, suddenly it will be your best subject. Then the next day take another QT. After that review the next worst subject for you. Pace yourself, you have three weeks. And take time off before the exam to do something you love to do. I went to the beach! GOOD LUCK!
  8. Thank you very much for your support. I have the date memorized! I am going to be 100% prepared this time around
  9. They responded about five minutes after I posted and offered me a new interview! And I passed my NCLEX too! So I'm all better!
  10. I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:chuckle:yeah: WOO!!! I'm a registered nurse!!
  11. I just got back from the beach! (sunburnt as anything!) Can I vent? OMG. 265 questions! Ok, well I kind of knew I would have 265 questions, but I was really hoping to end at 75.. who wouldn't?! It's just when I take my kaplan quizzes I clearly am a fickle tester. My results are usually 5 right 5 wrong, 7 right, 3 wrong. I think I stayed around the baseline the whole exam! OMG I took 265 questions on the NCLEX!!! I HOPE I PASSED! I am told if you do all the questions all that matters is that your last one is in the "passing zone" aka an application and analysis one. And it was a question about therapeutic communication with quotes, could that be a comprehension or content question?!! I hope not!! :/:banghead:
  12. :yeah:Just took QT7 and got 60!! That's good enough for me, I'm don't see the point of making a big stink about it. I take the NCLEX tomorrow morning at eight, so I'm packing my stuff and going to the beach tonight, taking my nclex, and going back to the beach!!! WOOOOOOO! Good luck everyone, I'll be back Monday! RN here we come!:redbeathe
  13. Hey! Let me know how you did! I take my Nclex in a few days, and our scores are mighty similar. I'm not sweating though, I know people who barely studied and passed. I'm told it's all about the attitude!
  14. Thank you everyone for their support! I feel so much better. I'm preparing myself for a confident and impressive interview. As well as passing this NCLEX exam in about 36 hours! All of this stress will be over soon!
  15. Good luck guys, don't study too hard. I'm constantly getting 60s on qbanks, and it's ok with me! Nclex in less than 48 hours!!!
