So I just took the Kaplan Sample Test #4 and only got a 38%......It's the test with all SATA! I'm freaking out!! Did anyone else experience this and still do ok on the NCLEX?!

Approach each SATA question as a True/False. Look at what the question is asking you, and then look at each answer INDIVIDUALLY. That is key. Don't overwhelm yourself with all the possibilities, you are ONLY interested in ONE possibility at a time.
If you break the answers into True/False statements, you will know exactly the way to answer the question.

Everyone in my class didn't get over a 35 so don't sweat it. We were told to just treat each answer as a true or false to help figure out these type of questions. Of the five of us that have taken the NCLEX we have all passed.

That's what I'm hearing which hopefully is a good thing! I got a 34% and SATA are my worst type of questions. I know to approach them as true/false but they're still really hard! How do you think the ones on the NCLEX compared?

I got 44% on that test it was brutal! My classmate got a 28 on it and we both passed, I had 75 and he had 265 but we passed. If you studied properly, you will have no problems with passing nclex. Q trainers 6 and 7 and sample test 4 were actually harder than my nclex. My scores, q t 6 58%, qt 7 66%. Like the reader before me suggested, you must treat each answer like a true or false. On my exam, I was looking forward to them, they were not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I had about 25 of them, but to me the put in order questions were more difficult and I had 5 of those. PDA book helped me tremendously. More than half of my exam was who would you see first
You will be ok. Good luck

Not to discourage you but one week before my nclex I took hat test as well and scored the exact same 38% as you. I called around to my buddies who had taken it and they scored in the 30s as well so I figured I'd not worry about it. Mistake! After I FAILED the nclex with 265 first attempt I realized that sample test 4 resembled it closest and I should have practiced more alternate format questions, which kaplan does not provide you with. I then met with my mentor who told me that the benchmark for hat sample test was 60% which should have been a hint to me that I wasn't ready to test. Hope this is helpful and best of luck to you
