  1. I tested on the 23rd as well, 75 questions, went to visit my friend at work, tried it, and got the "good pop up" tried again after 24hrs, same pop up, Checked CA BRN my license was posted!!!
  2. I did it and got 38% as well, I took NCLEX on Tues, got 75, and have to wait a billion years for results because CA doesnt jave quick results
  3. I dont know if its been mentioned, but when I was precepting as a student nurse, I was on a MS/Onc floor. Some meds you can flush and some you can not as this would be giving the patient a bolus . So the patient had multiple lines.
  4. Calofornia does not participate in quick results. So we have to wait it out
  5. If you use valid info, its pretty accurate.
  6. She has to use a valid CC.
  7. Pearson vue trick works, you just have to use a valid cc, no more switching the numbers or changing the exp date or it will tell you that its the wrong info
  8. My school allows foreign nurses to take deficient courses. There was a nurse from Russia I believe signing up.
  9. My school offers it at an additional cost, Im taking it in my final semester (yay) that and PALS.
  10. This dead horse. Who cares, I think it would be wonderful for all nurses to hold advanced degrees, we work alongside other healthcare professionals who have gone through years of schooling. It irks me when people complain of ADN Vs BSN, Im in an ADN program and quess what, I plan on going straight to my BSN. If you dont want to further your education, kudos to you, however dont knock others who have or will.
  11. Awesome sauce, I have been literally handwriting flashcards all day and my hand is cramping. You are a life saver. Thanks !!!
  12. Don't be discouraged. What worked for me is study groups. Me and a couple of my classmates would get together or do video chats on the subject s on the test. If your school uses ATI take advantage of that. Also do the learning objectives and do lots of NCLEX practice questions. What the rest of the world doesnt know about nursing school is that these test are a different animal. Another thing that helps for studying are concept maps. Watch you tube for things you are unclear on and find a class mate who is doing well and try to learn from them. I dont dont know how other schools do it. But before we started we did an 8 week jumpstart class so we knew what we were getting into. You will do fine, "just keep swimming"
  13. 5 more days til my final 3 more semesters to go!!!!
  14. Haha, this is awesome and explains my life to the Tee as I wrap up my first semester.
