You are doing fine. When I took kaplan, my instructor told us that, if you are scoring in the 50% range technically you are ready to sit. Kaplan just has a high standard and they want you to score 65% or above. My scores was in the 55% range and above, I got 75 questions and passed on my 1st time. If you are taking your exam April 24th, you should be doing test trainer 6 and 7 now. Test trainer 7 is just like the boards, it's 265 questions and 6 hours long and don't forget to read every rationale. Good luck on your test. Keep us posted on your success.
I got a 76% on QT6 and a 75% on QT7. The strange thing is that I didn't think I was doing that well at all on either one. I'm getting between 65-80 on Qbank quizzes and still have about 500 questions left.
I don't know if this means I'll pass (it looks good though based on what I've read here)...but in all honestly, I think this is probably as ready as I'm going to be for next week's test. I'm just going to plow though those last 500, do all of the ones I did wrong until I get them right, and work on my lovely weak area of pharmacology. And focus on staying calm during the test--as long as I'm calm and keep myself in control, I think can do all right. We'll see.
Oh yeah, I'll try not to lose my mind more than once a day from all the stress and anxiety :) This is going to be a LONG week...
