Hey dalegirl,

I just passed my nclex this week and I did question trainer 1 - 44% and question trainer 3 - 51% I didn't do any more because I felt like I wasn't learning - I focused on Qbank where you can do tutor mode and see the rationales immediately. If you are getting in the 60's on question trainer that is excellent - my highest was 51% and I passed my NCLEX in 78 questions!!!

you'll be fine!

Don't worry about the scores on the test trainer. Just keep doing your 100 questions a day. It important to become familiar with answering NCLEX type questions and gaining confidence. I was scoring in the 60's on the test trainer and passed with 75 questions.

Thank you all for your encouraging replies, I feel more at ease by your question trainer scores. The low scores can really throw you

:jester: I will keep you informed

every body different. i failed the nexlex first time. i took kaplan. i used to get above 65 in every kaplan test. i am taking again end of this month. i recomend u that donot rely on kaplan do the sander cd also.

yes, now as I am approaching the test trainer 5,6,7,. My scores are low 60s, I am trying to remain confidant by reading the previous kind reponses. Good to everyone. And if anyone else has some input related to Kpalan and the trainer, let me know.

Thanks

And remember the more important tests with question trainer are 5,6,7 - the questions are mainly application/analysis - which are the type of higher level questions that will be on the NCLEX.

Our kaplan instructor told us to try to focus on why you got certain questions wrong after you do question trainers 5 & 6 (didn't think it through, guessed, didn't know the pathophys or the medication, s/s, made the answer fit etc..) and once you do question trainer 7 - to focus on those specific weaknesses 1 week before you take the NCLEX...

have you tried Qbank? PM me if you would like to try it

hey Thanks for responding, yes I am doing a lot of qbank qs. I am following all the rules reading rationales both right and wrong. I read your previous post on your scores and it is encouraging that you passed using Kaplan.

Dg

I did the kaplan class and the question trainers also. I don't think I would have passed without Kaplan---practice with the question trainers and you will do fine. I passed with 75 questions---even though I was convinced I had failed. Kaplan really works!!
