Kaplan Online ADN Program

Kaplan has a new Online ADN program which would be good for those students with children and have to work fulltime like myself. It is very affordable and you will be sure to graduate if you do well. The Instructors are very warm and helpful. There are seminars online every week and weekly exams too. Check it out!

This program has provisional accreditation and it is accepted by the Florida Board of Nursing. It is a very cool program. It is definitely not like excelsior. One has to do the same amount of clinical hours as the traditional classroom. It is the same set up the only thing is that the theory is done online.

The program is seven ten weeks terms. We go to clinicals every week. saturdays and Sundays or Thurdays and Fridays. This is a very good program for nontraditional students like myself. I work fulltime and go to school full time. Call them.

If anyone is currently in the online kaplan adn program in florida can you please let me know how you are doing? Do you think that you are learning enough inof through the online studies to pass the nclex exam and also how are the clinicals going? Thanks so much for any info and good luck!!

Yes , I am currently in the Program and I am doing well. As with any online program you have to apply yourself. You get what you put into it. I am currently getting A's and B's. Which work for me! :wink2:

The Kaplan program is great. I will be graduating sometime this year. I have three more courses to go before graduation. I am doing great. Thank God for Kaplan!

Thanks for the replies.. it sounds great. I am starting the program in March.. I am confident that I will do fine in the course work however, I am just concerned with the clinicals. Can you just let me know what you think of the clinicals. Do you feel that you have had enough hand on training? Hi, I am a Florida resident and just contacted Kaplan. The online ADN is no longer available. Is anyone aware of another online program? I am interested in becoming a RN without having to "quit my day job." Thank you!

I just contacted Kaplan after reading this post, and she said the adn online program was only available to Southeast fl students (Miami, Ft Lauderdale,ect...) but they are going to expand the program, just not sure when

Yeah me too, the only problem is it could take years to expand. I wish there was another affordable one
