KAPLAN Fundamentals Exam

I am set to take the Kaplan Fundamentals exam tomorrow (it's the end of my first semester, this kind of serves as an "exit" exam). Has anyone taken it? How was it? Do you have any pointers? Does anyone know anything about scoring, what's a good score, bad score, average?

I feel like I'm going into this exam knowing practically nothing about it, so any information and pointers you have will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I took it last Wednesday and scored in the 67th percentile. The problem with our school is we don't do peds until 2nd semester, but the Fundamentals exam is 1st semester and it includes a good amount of questions concerning pediatric patients. There were some nutritional based questions that you would just have to know from life experience (which has the most vitamin [X], for example). However it wasn't too hard. We don't have to make a certain score on ours so I was more relaxed about it.

Obviously I can't tell you what any of the questions were, but just do your best.

Thank you! I'm not looking for any specific questions, that wouldn't be fair.. I just wanted to know how it was because I feel like I know NOTHING. We shall see. I've done the 2 practice exams that are on the Kaplan website and did decent on those.. I hope that it's a fair interpretation of how I'll do on the actual exam!

We took it last week and it wasn't bad, I scored in the 96th percentile, first semester student. We weren't graded on it, it was just something to see where we stood nationally.

Wow! I wish ours was just a measurement. Ours counts as 5% of our grade and its an all or nothing grade :/

Awesome job! I wonder if your curriculum is structured around Kaplan testing? No one in my class scored above the 70th percentile, but our instructors understand much of the material on the test has not been taught in class.
