Besides taking practice tests I would say read the questions before you read the essay. Sometimes you don't need to read the whole thing, but reading the questions will help you focus on what you need to "take" from the essay.

Hi Samantha! I am not an LVN but a Certified Surgical Tech with 8 years experience. My KTP scores, I only remember my math score and it was an 89%. I used the TEAS exam book to help me study for the KTP, it helped a lot. I hope you are selected in the second round for May!!!! Let us know!

Has anyone else gotten their date for orientation and their date for meeting with the DON yet? Just hoping to meet some other students from the same cohort that might be attending the same meets and orientation that I am.

I meet with DON on May 7@ 10 and orientation the next day @ 4. I can't wait to get our schedules! Anyone know when that might happen?

I think they said at orientation we get scrubs and schedule

My meeting with the DON is May 5th @ 10 am and orientation is May 8th at 4 pm. I was told at orientation we get our badges, scrubs and schedules, I could be wrong, but I believe that is what I was told.

Hi! I'm Jenny...I applied for Kaplan's May cohort in March & got my call just a couple days after the deadline. I have been working on all the requirements ever since. My meeting with the DON is May 5th @ 10am & orientation is May 8 @ 4pm. I'm waiting to hear back from Financial Aid but I was told that my transferring credits have to go through a process before FA can determine how much I'll be borrowing. My rep was able to tell me which classes need repeating though. Will anyone else be taking Math, Psychology, A&P 1+2? I have to retake those classes because they have all expired.

Hey Jenny,

I transferred all the prerequisite classes so I won't be in them. But I kind if wish I was as a god refresher and I would get a lot more financial aid! I get the minimum financial aid because I will less than half time the first semester and half time the second semester!

I was a student in West Coast Univeyrsity and was academically dismissed after failing two nursing courses with a C-. Does anyone know if nursing courses will transfer over?
