Hi ya'll!
So I have to admit that this is going to be my second time taking the NCLEX RN. I graduated in Dec, it took FOREVER to finally get my ATT (I live in CA) , took my exam in May and failed @ 117 questions =*( At the same time, I'm not too surprised because I didn't do the best studying. I worked about 30 hours a week, got sick the week of my test (ending up in the ER), got a flat tire and cracked my iphone screen. It seemed like a VERY ominous week and i know that i should've rescheduled. I also studied off of Saunders (I didn't do many Qs) and I used my friends Kaplan (in my opinion wasn't the best idea because all of the questions were recycled and I was unable to take the diagnostic/readiness)
BUT the past is in the past. I have been studying ALOT since June because I get sad every time I hear about my classmates passing & I'm not trying to spend 300+ on reapplying again. So what have I been doing differently? I've been using a lot of free nclex review apps, nclex 3500, read the entire Kaplan review book, watched all of the kaplan videos and read half of the study guide plan for Saunders. I REALLY REALLY don't want to fail AGAIN. I am scheduled to take my test this Wednesday @ 1pm (not a morning person).
Here are my scores...What do you think? How did it compare to yours and did you pass/fail? any suggestions? tips? anything? :) thanks a bunch!!!!!

Your scores look great, I used kaplan too and never got higher than a 64 on the trainers and a 60% on Qbank. Passed Nclex the 1st time. Kaplan questions are much harder than nclex questions. Do the Sample tests that have the ALL SATA questions.

Your scores ROCK!!! I think you will do great!!!! Especially since you know what to expect at the testing center and such.

I am looking for advice to prepare for my 2nd test attempt. For first time I mainly used NCSBN review. I got all 265 questions and failed. This time I have considered using Saunders along with the NCSBN and the prioritizing & delegating book. Any advice / opinions on what I should be doing for round 2 ? I'm so devastated and at a loss of how to prepare again. THANKS in advance.

hi @tanyasands im using the same review sources like you, when are you taking the exam?.. hope we all make it :)
I have not scheduled my new test date. I try to remain positive about testing again but I'm so scared and afraid of not being prepared. I felt very prepared the first time and failed so my confidence has been blown away. I know everyone learns differently but I've heard so many good things about Saunders and the NCSBN. The first time I didn't use the prioritizing book and I wish I had so I'm hoping with using all 3 resources this time I will finally pass that nclex.
