Here is a list of what I have done thus far:

Between the two books (Kaplan and LaCharity) I have done 895 (funny it comes out to be such an even number) questions.

I take my exam next Tuesday and will be starting exam cram (the book) tonight.

Feel free to share your scores! :twocents:

PS -- I am sure someone will chime in and say not to rely on the scores...this is in no way me or anyone else who would like to share their scores relying on them. To me, its a way to keep somewhat sane throughout this quite insane preparation process. :uhoh3:

THANK YOU!

Your welcome!

My Kaplan CD diagnostic test was 59. I also have Lacharity but i have not even started it.

I found LaCharity's book to be some of the most difficult NCLEX questions I have come across (compared to Kaplan, Saunders, Lippincott, ATI)

Concentrate on learning the material and the concepts. Predictor scores are notorious for not being accurate in predicting passing or failing.

I just got a 69 on the Kaplan CD... Not sure if that's good or bad!!!

From what I have read on these forums, anything above a 65 on the Kaplan diagnostic exams is considered good/passing whatever you want to call it lol.

I guess I barely made it then!! Davis is WAY harder than Kaplan in my opinion!

I didnt buy the Davis book :( Did you do any of the LaCharity book...I thought it was really challenging...really made you think about the situation.

I think Davis is even harder than that!! I get about 60's-70's in LaCharity. Haven't done the entire book yet. Pairing it with content review in Saunders.

With Davis I can barely get into the 60's. SO, SO, SO discouraging!

I wouldnt get discouraged...I feel as though the publishers/writers of these books make them all (for the most part) extremely difficult so that when you go to test then you feel as prepared as possible.

hey bberry87,

how did you do on your test? i know this post is waaay back ago but i was lookin at the Lacharity scores and I came across your post!

I never ever got 65 on Kaplan. My scores were in the 54-62 range and I used to beat myself up so much with frustration. If I had known how much easier the Nclex was compared to Kaplan I woul have relaxed a lot more. I passed the Nclex with 75 questions, and was shocked at how similar the questions were to Nclex 3500/4000.
