Kaiser's Cardizem Drip protocol

Published

I just started on DOU and I was wondering if anyone can give me insight on what is kaiser's protocol and nursing care to a patient who is on a cardizem drip?

Also, when would amiodarone be given? What should I be looking out for?

thanks!

congrats on landing a kaiser position!!! i heard that getting into kaiser is like breaking into fort knox these days! in any case, to respond to your question, i do not think anyone on here can post protocols for a specific company on this forum. however, maybe someone can point you to the area at your job that holds that information for your nursing reference?

I would hazard a guess that once you are employed there, you will have access to the protocols?

I wouldn't want to get protocols for drug administration from the internet.
