So I was wondering if anyone can give me insight into what the submission status: “no longer in consideration for position” means for Kaiser Staff RN applications? I recently applied to 3 “Inexperienced RN New Grad” applications (one of which I applied the same hour the job posted) and immediately after submitting my applications each one has the same submission status “no longer in consideration...” Did I do something wrong?? I even emailed [email protected] and they gave me a super vague response that basically said to read and answer the questions carefully. Can anyone help me understand this please!! ????

Hi,
“No longer under consideration” means that your application was thrown out by the ATS. It happens when your application shows something that would make you ineligible for a position. For this position, I’ve seen applicants post that this happened because they don’t have their license yet. Some people had more than 6 months experience and some may have just accidentally answered a question that disqualified them. ?
Thank you, @aval13 So I did apply to those before I had my RN license in CA, but my license just got posted on the BRN yesterday morning. So I “edited” each submission to include my RN license number.... and still no change to that submission status. I even applied to another position today that considered new grads (with my RN license now in my candidate profile) and it STILL said “no longer in consideration for position”! I know this must be an error because I carefully answered the prescreening and pre-employment questions correctly. Plus the position literally just posted today, so I know it can’t be inactive just yet. Do you think it’s a possible error on this site’s behalf?? ?
I think once it says you are no longer under consideration, it still won’t accept it even if you edit your submission.
I also believe that there is a max capacity on the number of applications they will accept. Kaiser New Grad programs are few and far between, so the applications sometimes close earlier.
Wow, I did not know that, @aval13 would you say these new grad RN applications fill up in a matter of hours?

I’m not sure, but I know a lot of people are applying. I think the last Kaiser new grad program was 2018.
I live in Southern California, and I believe that each Kaiser medical center will sporadically post new grad openings on the Kaiser career page at different times. So it isn’t a region-wide new grad program that occurs at the same time like Northern California. What baffled me was when I applied to another position with my RN license (meeting minimum requirements) and it still says the same thing. Maybe it did just fill up that fast ??
Oops, I was talking about San Diego not having one since 2018. Riverside, OC, and LA have posted new grad positions, but San Diego does not offer them.
I know a lot of people applied this morning. I’m curious if those who waited until tonight have gotten that same message.
Wow, if that’s the case, then the level of competition in SoCal for Kaiser new grad positions is simply astounding. Hopefully anyone else who applied to a new grad opening in SoCal recently can weigh in on this discussion ??

I had a friend apply this morning and it says "job submission complete".
Already licensed.
Thanks for sharing @AallenRN I’m just trying to understand why I keep getting the same message after I apply for positions even though I have my RN license now. KP-Hires has not been any help. Here’s what I’m seeing on my end... Each submission says my application is “no longer in consideration”.
@Ready4RN2021 All those positions, besides the Inexperienced New Grad, require at least one year of experience. When the ATS does not see that experience on your resume, it automatically disqualifies you.
