Hello everyone,
Starting this thread for all of us who just applied for Fall 2022. Hoping to exchange information and support each other through this rigorous process. Share any updates!

I just received a rejection email, I think. I'm a little confused because they said they would email candidates not admitted by 8/5, and later today, I received this one. The email said I was removed from consideration based on qualifications, skills, and/or experience stated in my expression of interest/during the candidate screening practice. Did anyone get this email too?
I'm sorry. That sucks. I do remember reading the application that they did want an RN license( they were initially waiving that req during covid), but then the snapshot had a bunch of questions about NCLEX and to write down the specific date you were taking it, etc. So maybe that's another way to screen applicants( there were 1000 of us). I'm sorry, you will land somewhere great! Focus on NCLEX studying and celebrating your degree.
According to the FAQ on Kaiser's New Grad Residency Program page:
Can I apply without my nursing license?
Yes. You must have an active nursing license from the California Board of Registered Nursing upon the date of hire (typically 30 days prior to the start date). Interim permits and out-of-state nursing licenses are not accepted.
I applied without my license and have not received a rejection letter as well.
Yeah, I fit all the eligibility requirements, so I am not sure if it had to do something with my NCLEX test date. I just found it weird how I received the email so soon after their initial email, and this one was from HR. It looked like a generic email. Pretty bummed, but I am just going to focus on NCLEX and prepping for other job applications/interviews.
Good luck, everyone! You guys will all end up where you want to be - whether it's Kaiser or another place. I know the process can be daunting, but it'll be worth it in the end. ?
I attended Kaiser's new grad fall 2022 webinar recently. Must have passed and completed NCLEX by July 20, 2022. They recommend now no prior RN inpatient acute care experience if possible. But still eligible even if you have less than six months of RN hospital experience.
Wishing everyone luck.
Do you guys know if they will contact us before Thursday? Or are they sending out emails on Thursday?
