Kaiser Northern California New Grad Fall 2022

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone,

Starting this thread for all of us who just applied for Fall 2022. Hoping to exchange information and support each other through this rigorous process. Share any updates!

I also graduated with honors, have my BLS, ACLS, PALS, RN license, ekg course, 5 years CNA experience and did an externship with Kaiser and worked as an ambassador with them and did not receive an invite. I guess we can always reapply right? LOL

Congratulations to those that made it to the next round! Kill those interviews?

I was selected for an interview for Santa Clara. I had 1 clinical rotation at Kaiser, did a paid externship at Kaiser, and was a Delores Jones recipient. BSN, BLS, ACLS, RN license pending as I wait to take the NCLEX, No EKG, graduated with honors. 1 year of NA experience. I am likely turning down my interview due to offers elsewhere, so hopefully this opens up a spot! Goodluck everyone! ?

congrats to everyone, crush those group interviews! out of curiosity which ekg courses are legit? I want to take one but I am unsure of which ones are good or credible? I am in the Sacramento and solano area. also ACLS courses? There’s so many, it’s hard to know which are the cheapest and best option.

Hello, congrats to everyone who got interview invites and best of luck to those waiting to hear back.

I received an email earlier this week to interview with one of the east bay locations and scheduled mines for next week!

For those who emailed their updated resumes, was there anything additional that we should add? and once you emailed it to the NCal residency email, did they reply back to you that they received it?

Thank you!

Hi! I also was wondering this.. and I did some research online yesterday and found Project Heartbeat in Oakland. I looked them up on Yelp and they had great reviews (over 300+), so I went ahead and signed up for the course on June 29! I watched the webinar that was in early June, and it seemed like they really prefer that we have an ECG interpretation class taken since most of us are going to be in the med surg/tele units! Can let you know how the class is and if I recommend it later this week! ?

Hi there! No, I only emailed my updated resume because it said in the email, "Do not send documents other than your resume; do not send multiple emails/versions, we will use the first version we receive." And no, I haven't received a reply back yet but I e-mailed it this morning so maybe I will later! Also don't forget to send in .pdf form! Congrats to you too btw!!

**Edit oops nvm I didn't refresh my email.. looks like I did get an automatic reply about 10 mins after I sent the email that said "Thank you for your interest! We will respond to your question within 3 business days. Please note we do not monitor this inbox on holidays."

Oh yeah, I did receive that same automated response immediately after emailing them my resume, but at least we know it's properly sent if we got that reply from their system. Good luck to you !

Hey everyone, congrats on making it this far. Is anyone interviewing for Antioch / Walnut Creek location?

I haven't seen anyone post about that area. Best of luck to us all.

Hello all,

I was invited for an interview and was wondering if anyone has reached this point and if so, have any advice when presenting the PowerPoint.
I am 1 of the 6 applicants that are interviewing for the NorCal location.

There is a ton of people interviewing for the nor cal positions. Which city did you put ?

I assumed a resume doesn't have to be emailed if there were no changes. Anyone else also did not submit their resume? Thank you

Hello,

Has anyone interviewed? I got the email on 6/16 regarding interviews occurring this week but no email after that (I applied for Manteca and Modesto area)
