Hello and congrats for those that got an interview! I was wondering if you had experience at Kaiser prior to applying?

I worked as an ER Tech for Kaiser and did my Peds clinicals there.

I did my ICU, ED, and Med Surg clinicals there

I also did a preceptorship with the med surg nurse managers/leaders where I worked on HAPI cases and whatnot

thank you so much! I didn't have any experience or clinical there. I am sure if that was also a factor as to why I didn't get an offer. Good luck to you guys ?

Hi! I also got a rejection email and am just wondering...I feel like I had such a solid application and career snapshot, but the one thing is that I just got my entry-level masters and am still waiting to take the NCLEX. Do any of you know if that would significantly affect their decision on whether or not to interview me? I might also just reach out and ask for their feedback even though they said not to haha

I feel the same way, I really confident but I didn't have any clinical or experience at Kaiser. So I think I will just try to look for opportunity at other hospital.

I believe they prioritize those who have their nursing license

from my experience

I've been getting more opportunities after I had gotten my license versus prior

I do remember on their ppt and after researching that they do like seeing:

1. RN license

2. EKG Interpretation certificate

3. BLS

4. ACLS

5. Kaiser experience

6. Customer Service Experience (esp if u held a managerial/leader position)

they have another cohort opening in December I believe!

And Ik Stanford is opening another cohort soon too (Nov I think?)

I've seen a lot of hospitals also opening new grad applications!

I have clinical experience at Kaiser and I have all the certificates they are asking for. This is my third time applying and got rejection letter.

I wonder how they grade it?

What area did you apply for?

Same here except this is my second time applying. Had one med-surg clinical and my senior preceptorship (on med-surg floor) at Kaiser facilities, got all of the certifications that they wanted, both of my parents are currently employed at Kaiser too but still got rejected. Would be nice if they let us know why they rejected us. It's discouraging, but we just have to keep going. Best of luck with your job searching and good luck to all of those moving forward with the program!! :-)

I know 3 friends who got in without their RN license, without EKG class and only had 1 clinical rotation at Kaiser other than that nothing out of the ordinary that other candidates wouldn't have had, and they got in the program last cohort... I am really not sure what criteria they use...

It is weird... like I wonder what exactly they are looking at... maybe GPA??
