Hello everyone! I just wanted to create this for all those interested in the Kaiser Nurse Residency for new grads that has a start date of 9/11/2023. Also thought I would post the timeline below to help with any questions about when the next steps are taking place (per their webinar).

5/31-6/7: Application open

6/8-6/11: Candidate Survey (Snapshot)

6/20-6/30: Group Interviews

7/12: Hiring Decisions

7/17-7/26: HR Offer Days

7/31-9/8: HR Checks

9/11: Program Start

Anyone who is interviewing this week or next week in sac area?

Hello!

Anyone here who already got interviewed in Vallejo area? Any tips or questions they asked?

Good luck to everyone interviewing this week. Has anyone interviewed? Really nervous and curious about how the group interviews go. Anything you can share?

Just be prepared and show your interest in why you want to work at Kaiser and BE YOU. They didn't ask any behavioral typed questions when my group got interviewed. They just asked for clarifications based on our resume after each candidate presented. And just discussed what will be the next step of the hiring process.

For the presentation, do they want the whole 10 minutes used up? and how do they determine who goes first?

Thanks!

Oh wow that was quick! I thought they said week of July 10. I hope it went well for you.

They weren't really strict on time.  But what I advise is try to make it to 10 minutes or less because it's really noticeable when the presentation is taking too long. I timed myself and it was less than 10 minutes. I also read on the interview guide they sent us, it says successful presentations should be 10minutes or less.

There was also some technical issues with other candidates who were using MAC and were needed to send their PowerPoint to the hub coordinator in able to show their slides. The hub coordinator called our name one by one and asked us to state our name and what school we graduated. And she said that would be the order who will present first.

I have a mac. Before my interview I did a mock meeting with a friend just to figure things out before the interview. I'm glad I did because it turns out you need to adjust certain settings in order to share your screen, I highly recommend doing this.

We volunteered to go first, second etc.

To echo what another person said, I agree that your presentation should be less than 10 minutes. 10 was a hard stop, mine was around 8 and it seemed to go well.

Did anyone receive an interview for July? Just got an email today with an invite for an interview but I also received a rejection email in June? (This email did say at the bottom that they may reach out again if they need additional candidates).

Just curious and hoping I wasn't sent an invite by accident/this is a mistake!

Definitely schedule the interview! I guarantee it's not a mistake, and they're needing more candidates. What location?

I agree! Schedule! I wish I got that email LOL

maybe they have extra spots or weren't impressed w the interviews. Good luck!

which area is this for?

What location did you select? I think the original interviews end today or tomorrow. I wonder how many spots they are available at each site that they are interviewing more candidates? My panel had 7 interviewing and I'm sure people interviewed other days as well.
