Kaiser New Grad Fall 2024 Cohort 10

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to start a thread so we can all chat/update each other for the Kaiser New Grad- Fall Cohort 10 application which opens 04/26!

Do any of you know individuals who applied to earlier cohorts and were granted interviews despite submitting only their ATT and a confirmed exam date in their snapshot?

Yes, a classmate of mine. However, their interview was taken away because they were unable to attend the exam date and had to reschedule the NCLEX for another time/date. Kaiser did not try to accommodate them for a later interview date and they lost the chance to interview.

Do any of you know if anyone was hired without an EKG course certification, and no internship/externship at Kaiser?

I only have my ACLS/BLS/PALS/NIHSS. BSN and RN Lic already. However,  I have no medical background other than my clinical rotations but I have a good GPA 🥴. And Kaiser is my insurance provider LOL 😆 (not that it counts).

My exam is set before the interview dates commence, but I worry about not passing the snapshot section, as I've heard it might be a computer-generated process that advances candidates based on qualifications. However, I could be mistaken, basing this on my perception of how they select from thousands of applicants. I'm know someone who got accepted without an EKG cert and ACLS a few years back when there weren't nearly as many applicants as there are now.

I hope you'll be okay. If you have everything else. Did you write and submit a cover letter as well. I heard they actually do read them.

Oh man! How many applicant's did we have time round? I know last Cohort they had like 3k. Based on Cohort 9 forum here in Allnurses.

3k?! OMG that is insane. I did submit a cover letter but I don't have certifications yet.

For those applied last cohort without ATT and got rejected, do you guy still receiving the snapshot this time?

I applied this cohort without an ATT and received the snapshot. I see some people received the snapshot last cohort, but have not yet in this cohort even though they are more qualified this time! I am so scared. Should I still submit my snapshot when I know they will reject my application for sure?
Thanks!

I graduated in May 2023 and I'm wondering if maybe I didn't get the career snapshot because I graduated too long ago

Hello, I graduated in May 2023 also! I did receive the snapshot on Saturday. I hope they get back to you.

Hi! I applied to the last cohort and was not granted an interview even with an ATT and being licensed before interview dates. I believe they prioritize those who are already licensed. We'll see how this cohort goes.

Same, I got my att on 2/1 and passed on 2/3, then I sent them email saying I passed. They congrat me and then that's it~ no interview or any other replies LOL

Did you have all of that though before or after  the career snapshot? I know some applicants have their ATT but NCLEX scheduled by required date for this cohort. They're also a Kaiser employee but not sure if that even helps at this point.

They will accept your application so long as you have an ATT date but I have a strong feeling they prioritize those who are licensed first. This is just my experience applying to the last cohort. Their deadlines seem quite strict.

For reference (last cohort),

Career snapshots sent out 2/2-2/6. Got my license on the 2/7. Interviews started on 2/20 but they wanted licensure by 2/12 regardless.

Does anyone know where to get EKG online?
