Hi everyone!

Just wanted to start a thread so we can all chat/update each other for the Kaiser New Grad- Fall Cohort 10 application which opens 04/26!

Career snapshot stopped at 46 questions. Getting PTSD from the NCLEX. Is that bad?

Hello everyone. I just recently obtained my LVN license. I am applying to local colleges to complete my LVN to RN. I was looking into moving to NorCal and stumbled upon this website. I am definitely interested in the Kaiser and UC Davis Cohorts. I was hoping some of you (the ones who make it into the program) could possibly share some tips or what you think made you stand out from the rest. I would love to hear any input.

And fyi, GOOD LUCK TO ALL APPLICANTS!! This is such a wonderful opportunity

Did you get the screen where it says submission complete and to screenshot the screen?

Hey! There aren't any LVN new grad programs. The best advice I can give is it get into Kaiser as an employee. They hire LVNs, I work for them now as one. They open up flu clinic positions around August and it's a great way to get your foot in the door. They also hire LVNs into clinic positions like adult and family medicine so that's worth checking out too! If you can get in with them as an LVN while you bridge to RN, when you apply for the RN new grad program, you'll be able to show your time of service as an employee.

I haven't had the ATT yet. But I still gave it a try. At least I'll know what I should prepare for the next cohort. By they way, I selected the option that " do not have NCLEX schedule and do not have ATT". I'll be rejected for sure. Good luck everyone in this cohort!

The website now shows May 4th for career snapshots to be sent out?

I remember it said May 7th on the timeline from the PowerPoint which is why I was surprised it was sent out today!

You received it too right?

No I have not.

Have you checked junk/spam? Could've been routed there? Make sure your email is correct on the application. Seems like a lot of us received it today.

If you haven't by tomorrow, you should email them. Or check your application status.

I hope you hear soon! The career snapshot is an automated email to all applicants to weed out people.

Yes I checked spam emails. The site has May 4th on it now so maybe tomorrow. I'm not the only one who didn't receive it.

I'm on the same boat. They'll probably send out the rest tomorrow? The webinar said snapshots will be sent out May 3rd and due May 7th. But it seems like that timeline has changed and is being reflected on the website—now May 4th and due May 9th.

What is a community center? I had 3 job offers in CO why is CA so difficult.. I just want to go home. I might just pick up an ACP position at Kaiser until the next application.

It's a place where elderly "participants" will send to in day time and we give them treatments and assessments too... like just better than sitting at home without $$)zzz! Bay Area is packed with all young and experienced nurses from all over the country... that's y most places won't even look at new grad now
