Kaiser New Grad Fall 2024 Cohort 10

Published

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to start a thread so we can all chat/update each other for the Kaiser New Grad- Fall Cohort 10 application which opens 04/26!

I have applied a second time as well, no interview email yet.

there were some changes made to this cohort so maybe they will not release interview invites until the actual date they stated in webinar which is May 17th, 2024

Two more days in that case!

Do you know what kind of changes?

I remember from the last webinar they said that nurses who already have a license and have been waiting will get preference, or something along these lines.

never trust them after I realized some special groups get special links to apply ahead... been with kaiser 9 yrs n sadly I didn't get interview for twice alrdy

"Did you reapply for the license for the second time? I don't understand why they opened the application for some people on the 15th. I remember seeing a notification on the 17th for NGNRP from KP, but the link did not work for me."

I knew someone who had access to application couple days before it opened but I think the career snapshot is what helps the HR team include the applicants that qualify. I don't know but I'm just taking a guess as to how they can quickly get through thousands of applicants in short amount of time

This has been a theory I have been trying to decipher... as an applicant I wanted to see what were the odds of me getting invited to interview without having Kaiser experiences.

Yet, it didn't make sense that some that only had a BLS and an RN License no anything with Kaiser would be invited to interview, and others who had been working for Kaiser or not... but had more certificates did not.

I poured my heart out on that cover letter, and hoping my stats are enough to be invited. But I still do not understand how they go through thousands of applicants and CL/LOR etc in just a few days. Given other programs take a few weeks.

Let's all stay positive and hope our application touched the right recruiter/manager and soon see an email with an invitation.

It's not that they just applied couple days earlier. It's that they got a different link, like a link for a particular group, which HR might go through that group first.. don't quote me tho haha Im just guessing and bs.

I know right?! I got all the certs and course that they ask for, graduated this year with 3.7, did externship and also work there for like 9 years, I got my LVN license too, I had no idea what stopped me from just getting an interview... BTW, this is my second time applying alrdy... Im gonna quit my LVN there if I don't make it this time.. there is no point to wait for another cohort with such unclear process..

My guess is they only go over the first few hundred or so applications.
