Kaiser job fair in San Jose

Hi,

I went to the RN interview day in Kaiser in San Jose last Thursday, Aug 12th and I have not heard from them.

I forgot to ask them how soon they would get back to me.

I was wondering if anybody who went there has heard from them already.

I was at the same job fair in San Jose. They said that they would let us know this week. I'm waiting until Monday to call them back. Have you heard from them yet?

I still have not heard from them. My friend received an email from them next day and was told that she was not successful. I hope we can hear a good result from them. :)

Really?I hope so too! I'll keep you posted. I hear that there's going to be a second interview if we get called back. Fingers crossed:)

How crowded was it? I'm planning to attend the concord one (they weren't hiring maternal/child at the San Jose fair I was told). This will be the first fair for me, would love some info on what happened, what was expected, what did they ask etc...

I applied to Kaiser back in the day (2005), when everyone was hiring. I was already in orientation at my current job, when I finally heard from them (5 weeks later).

It was not crowded at all, very smooth sailing. It was like a meet and greet type of deal, basic questions about yourself. It was pretty laid back. Good luck:)

5 weeks?! Wow. They told me 1 week, but I still haven't gotten any phone calls. Planning on calling the recruiter on Monday to follow up...otherwise I have to start looking for another job.

I was finally able to contact one of the recruiters in Kaiser San Jose and she was supposed to get back to me by yesterday, but I am still waiting.

Did you hear from them at all, BellyBear?

Wee_oneRN, can you share information about the Concord job fair? I cannot find any information on it.

Also, for anyone is southern CA, Kaiser is holding a job fair in Burbank on 8/25/11.

The original posts were referring to job fairs being held a year ago. Suggest a quick call to local Kaiser facilities or a peek at their employment website to get up to date info. Assume that those who never heard back were not offered positions.
