Is it almost impossible to get above a 3.2gpa in nursing school? I want to be a crna but I'm worried I might not have a high enough gpa to be admitted. I'm worried what should I do?

Study your butt off even more than you are. Did you know how hard this school was before you entered? How far into the program are you?

I start in January. Hamot School of Anesthesia in Pennsylvania. I do not know about Kaiser but this is like the third or fourth time I have heard about a school that is almost immpossible to get any A's in their classes and do not understand why.

Just read some of your older posts. You really need to stop worrying and just work your ass off in your classes. There are no shortcuts, and no secrets to getting A's. You just have to stay focused, and get your head in the game. It's hard, but it's the only way.

Cerda, by looking at all of the other posts you have entered, seriously, you need to stop worrying over every little thing.
You aren't even in nursing school yet, but you are worrying about CRNA school. You will give yourself a heart attack if you keep up with this unnecessary stress.
For the moment, you need to do your best in high school. Start looking at places (nursing schools - not CRNA schools) that you think you may want to attend. Each have different requirements and they are not all as strict with GPA. My school only requires a 2.5 gpa. There is no "acceptance" process, just a 2 year wait.
The question is, what is the reason that you want to become a CRNA? What about it interests you?
I also know some people who keep failing nursing school pre-reqs. They've failed so many times they have below a 1.0 gpa. There comes a point when one needs to realize that something may just not be for them. That doesn't make them stupid. That doesn't make them a bad person, or anything like that. We all have different talents and abilities and we need to choose our careers not only one what we like, but what we are good at.
Why don't you volunteer at a hospital or something, or ask to shadow a nurse to see if this is really what you want to do? I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life until I was 22 years old. I didn't go to college right after high school. There's nothing wrong with taking time to discover yourself and what you want to do with your life. Better take time to learn about different fields than go into a career you'll hate.
So I am confused by your other postings. Are you in High School or College or Nursing School? It possible to get straight A's if you put the time and energy into it. I did not put my full energy into nursing school but still finished with a 3.55. It is very possible to get above 3.20 but if you are worried about how hard Kaiser is, then go to a different college.

The OP is in high school.
Ok, so forget what I said before about nursing school. Get through High School and maybe complete freshman year of college before you start looking at nursing school. I also would not worry about CRNA school until you at least start applying for jobs and by that I mean if you are interested in CRNA school then try and get a job in a ICU.
