K1 Visa of 3rd Year Student - Can sit for NCLEX/PN ?

Can a student from Philippines whom is in her 3rd year of Nursing, Can they submit their application to BON to sit for LVN/LPN licenses in USA.

I assume NCLEX/PN is for LVN/LPN in USA.

No, they cannot. They must complete the education first and then apply.

Not all states permit one to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam while they are in the RN program.

And when one is training out of the US, then they need to have completed their program first. Curriculums are also very different in how they are set up as well.

Have never seen this happen for one person in any state.

Why not complete their education in the USA since that is where they are planning on living? I agree that the third year IEN program would be very hard to translate to a US PN program. The PN program can be completed in one year.
