My classmate took the NCLEX last week. She said the computer shut down at 75 questions and her last question was wrong too. She said it was very hard and totally different from what she practiced. She passed. Be confident on yourself. As I know, you can check the result 48 hrs after the test by paing about $8.
Thanks for the info. It helps. I will take my next week .
thank u for the info, and for the encouragement..all i need to do is to pray, really hard...Goodluck to ur exam too...:wink2:

I'm also taking the nclex exam on September. I applied in Ca BON, waiting for this exam makes me sick.. and to think that i'll be waiting for 3-4weeks more for the result makes me more sicker.. All I can do is do my best and pray! pray! pray! Goodluck to your exam. I know it's a pain to wait but I sense that you pass the exam. Goodluck!

Good luck to you, I'm sure you did fine. I was just watching a Kaplan online video and the woman said that only with taking 265 questions does the last question count and get this, doesn't matter if you get it wrong or right. It is a matter of it being a high level question or a low level question that determines passing. I think I would have been better off not knowing that...I test the 3rd of Sept for the second time.

Good Luck......i Would Try Not To Think About It And Just Wait For The Results....getting The Last Question Wrong Doesn't Mean U Failed!!!

Hi everyove, me-I'am new and not an RN, but my wife took the exam on the 22 nd of August in California we have no quick results, so it has been 10 days she is absolutely freeking out, she says that it shut off at 75 questions, and had 3 math questions about 15 medication questions at the end but most of all she had priority questions, can someone tell me is that a good thing that she started seeing the med questions at the end or not? Also I think RNs should write a complain to governor an ask for quick results just like all other states it is unacceptable!!! thanx please let me know asap about my question!
It does not matter when certain types of questions come up because its all random. The number of questions does not matter either because you can fail with 75 or 265. The level of difficulty of the questions matters because this determines whether or not you passed.
Best of luck!

Stay positive and you will do well. I'm sure you did pass and you're just being a worry wart like we all are after exams.
