Officially an RN!!!!!!
Yes I'm officially an RN!!!!!!! As like many others I failed my Nclex the 1st time around. It was a really low point for me. All of my friends who I attended nursing school with had passed and I felt like such a failure. After crying my eyes out for a couple of days, I realized that I couldn't let this happen to me again. Soon after that I found this forum, that allowed me to see that just b/c I didn't pass doesn't mean that I wouldn't make a good nurse. You guys have such amazing stories and they these stories along with the support of my family and GOD motivated me not to give up. All I can say is prayer and faith does pay off and if u don't believe it u should try it. For those who want to know the 1st time around I did use the Kaplan course. I found that this didn't really work for me b/c it just taught me how to use strategies that I felt didn't work for every question. I took the test and failed the 1st time around. The second time around I use Suzanne's Plan. I found that this worked for me b/c I was able to refresh my mind on content areas. I followed the plan exactly how she described and I passed the 2nd time around. I haven't heard of anyone who hasn't passed using this plan and it worked for me so I'm a supporter. The last 3 months I have studied and prayed everyday knowing that God has a plan and he can get me thru this. So for all of my future nurses, u can do this. If u fail pick it up and keep going. Nursing school was the hardest part and we've all made it thru the toughest part. This is jus one obstacle that you can overcome. So never think about stopping, jus think of the difference you will make the day u officially become an RN!!!! P.S. Thanks to all the encouraging words from you guys....it was really helpful.:heartbeat

How accurate is ATI predictor???
I would say just keep answering as many questions as u can......My ATI score said that I had a 97% chance of passing the nclex and I failed my first try so I wouldn't interpret that as a sign of passing the nclex for sure...just keep studying......GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

NCLEX review programs, any comparisons?
I haven't heard of this review, but I also took the Kaplan course. I just took my NCLEX and found out I didn't pass:cry:. Some of my friends who took this course passed the 1st time around and some didn't. I found it useful b/c they did give you a bunch of review questions, but they reviewed no content material. So I guess it's just deciding what you need. Right now I am looking for a different way to study. How was the review that you took????

Failed NCLEX-RN 1st time
Yes....I failed the nclex the 1st time. I was so confident that I had passed the exam. After the test I wasn't worried and stressed out while waiting for the results. When I received the results I was shocked...I couldn't believe that I had failed!!! So after crying for 3 days I decided that I needed to figure out what to do so this wouldn't happen again. I have been looking on the internet for different ideas for studying and I came across this teaching solutions program. I was wondering if anyone has tried this program and what they thought of it. If anyone could give me any tips on study materials or what they did to pass I would truly appreciate it.
