Hi! Im running out of my new grad tittle I graduated in May 2008, took kaplan and tested first time in August. Failed first time very sad and decided to do kaplan again for 3 months, finally three months later december 2008 took nclex Passed!!! started job search. I have put my resume AROUND....Im getting allot of Im sorry were looking for experienced nurses and not looking to train new grads right now. I even applied nursing homes and they want experience....Im soooo frustrated times ticking im forgetting things and I dont even know what I want anymore. So I just had an interview with a dialysis clinic that went pretty well, I must say I got really scared taking a tour but she didnt want to take me in for the 6 month training until I really decide that dialysis nursing is for me. I went home and thought about it and decided that it would be something to start with but then I went on the Specialty nursing forum and kept reading other nurses comments back to other people who were in the same boat i am and it was Dont GO for it as a new grad!!! Oh man what to do????? I know med surge is important but I am not getting in anywhere and I need to get EXPERIENCE. Im starting to really get scared and I really love nursing.

Hi! im a new rn in MA who is still lookin for a job and I was debating to start looking into Gainesville FL. I know that pay down there isnt as good as here in MA, but I dont really know the exacts and was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on how much hourly med surge new grad nurses start out at???? Also if i do decide to get my FL liscence do I have to get ceu for both states or do they count for both?????????????? THanks for the HELP!!!

Im a new nurse still looking for a job in MA, not very easy! and I have been told YOU NEED to get a Med Surge job as your first...but right now I have searched and none around here. I have always been really interested in psych and there is job opening for that would that be a bad thing to start as a new nurse as a psych nurse? Does it all really matter? ER sounds really good too but Im so scared as a new nurse to apply for that. My other question is what is the BEST Nursing magazine for a new nursing grad??? ThanX a Bunch!

first time i got a total of 240? this time 161-162:icon_roll i dont know how to feel or what to expect...all i know is i am so nervous & anxious :redbeathe to know!!!! one more day! i luv it how they throw things & meds in there that I have never seen in any of my books. Im praying:bowingpur

Failed my first time (sad!).....dont know where to start or how to study. Just got my letter my only below passing was Physiologic, but i dont know how to start studyin again. I did only kaplan 100% and im not sure if i should try it again or get my money back. Any advice? Please!

how should you study? I did kaplan 100% and was gettin 55-60% but still failed my first time. Im just scared now! I felt that nclex ?s were way diferent than what kaplan had. those select all that aplly questions I had no idea?
