Just took NCLEX PN

Published

I just took the PN NCLEX this morning and I feel like crap. I'm sure I failed!!! I kept getting NG tube questions, and a lot of priority. I got 5 or six check all that apply. I am soo nervous, I am going to die from the wait!!! I feel like I was guessing at every other question!!!! :o My test stopped at 85 questions. Please someone give me some support!!!

I will let everyone know If I passed. I am so anxious...I try to keep busy then just when I forget about it a class mate will call and ask me about it. I have refused calls till after my results, so that I will not lose my mind. I thought getting through the nursing program was hard. I guess this is even more difficult. I just took my LPN and I have to take the RN in December..the way our program goes is that you complete the LPN then go on and complete the RN. You have to pass state boards in order to finish the last 4 classes in the RN rotation. I attend Davenport University here in Michigan.

Thanks everyone

Hello I'm new to this website and have read EVERY post regarding NCLEX PN, I'm in california and took the exam on 4/21/06 and won't get results till atleast 5/05 I CAN'T TAKE THE WAIT!! Anyways... I had 85 questions, ALOT of priority, mostly meds/surg type patients and a handfull of pharm, some lab value, and one I/O calculation. Of the four questions I can remember most seemed somewhat difficult, Does the type of questions asked say anything towards the outcome of the results? I felt Okay about the test once I finished, but as the days go by I lose the faith... If anybody has knows if these types of questions mean anything...

i just took the nclex-pn this morning, i got alot of priority questions, ng tubes, and check all that apply. it stopped at 120 questions. i felt like, i needed more questions to help me pass, so now i have to wait 2-4 wks for results,i'm trying not to stress out, but it is hard. i pray we all pass with flying colors, so we can continue to be successful nurses.:caduceus:

Did all of you guys pass?? I hope so ..... "with flying colors"! By the way, do they actually let you know how well you did?? Or is all NCLEX pass or fail and you have know idea of how really well (or not) you did.... wouldn't actual results allow you to prepare better next time around?

How was the result? Pls keep me posted. We are on the same boat. Hope you pass.:balloons:

This is for anyone who has taken the NCLEX-PN exam. My test shut off at 85 questions and I freaked out thinking I needed more questions. After asking everyone I worked with if that is a good thing or a bad thing, everyone said I passed. But deep inside I still felt like a failure. I found out Monday that I passed, so shutting off at 85 must be a good thing. Rumor is, you must miss so many during the first 85 questions that you have no way to rebound back to passing. SO, I wish the best to those recent grads who will soon experience the NCLEX-PN.
