Just took the HESI A2

For all of you searching for advice....I took the test today and like everyone else says, it is much easier than I anticipated!! I received an overall score of 90%. I would of liked to get higher, but I am happy with that. I probably studied a total of 6-8 hours for this exam. I used HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review and 3 Evolve Reach HESI A2 Practice Test. The Evolve book was much harder than the actual test in my opinion.

Math=88%

Very Easy if you look at the math section in the first book I mentioned. I only missed measurement questions (milliliters, ext.)

Reading Comprehension=92%

Very direct and easy. Did not study for this portion

Grammar=96%

I was freaking out over grammar for some reason. It was easier on the test than it was in practice book, thank goodness! I studied this and voacab the most.

Vocabulary=84%

Eek. My lowest score. I took words from both books and put them into flash cards on quizzlet. When I got to the test though, the questions were not as hard as a thought they would be. Mostly common sense, but still study this!!!

That's all I had to take for my program. Hopefully this info can help someone. =)
