is this something you really want to do? if the answer to this question is yes, then the only thing that can stop you is you. if you're having difficulty with something, go after it twice as hard and get the necessary help, tutoring anything. don't let discouragement get the better of you, if this is really, truly what you want. get back on the horse and ride.
well, i'm managing the best that i can....nure 130, bio 105, and eng 101 my grades are actually great...but che 113 is the m-o-n-s-t-e-r !!!! this class is going to drop my gpa...i plan on getting some tuturing to try to help me with my grades. i'm just not used to getting low c's and dare i say d's ...my head was spinning when i say my test/quiz/lab grades...i just have to go harder on "my grind"

I would start to socialize with other people now. you will need more than one person for support trying to get through this program. even if you don't find someone this semester, you probably will next in 131. When you have clinical you tend to make friends with the people you see the most every week. Right now, its mostly memorization in 130. you should do fine, just do the reading. Taking chem is hard no matter what. if you feel lost, get help now. go to the ALC. some of the profs tutor there. i know my micro prof did. From what i know, GPA doesn't matter once you the nursing course arena. just have above a 3.0 so you can get the scholarship when you get to 231/232. i'm in 232. networking is the key. good luck!
That is exactly what I'm trying to do now...:icon_roll But I figured what you said about 131 that I would link up with someone. I remember my mom getting "study buddies" for her nursing, and most likely or should I say hopefully I'll have some of my own

How did the semester end up, Bunny326? I'm considering applying to Trinitas for this fall..and I've heard a lot of bad things regarding them...what is your opinion??
Unfortunatley, I had to drop NURE 130 half way through because CHE 113 was just TOO much for me to handle...my chemistry professor was NOT a good professor and she made EVERYTHING harder than it really was, over half of the class had to drop her !!! NURE 130 was pretty easy if you just read on your own because the Prof. does not go over medical terminology and limited calculations (not from the book) :typing. I did half of the semester and I had an "A" average between my quizzes and exams. I've heard that Nursing I wasn't "that hard" so I would try it out, I had an overall good experience :chuckle
Cool. Are you still at Trinitas? I think I will apply..even though Mountainside is my first choice.
