  1. Unfortunatley, I had to drop NURE 130 half way through because CHE 113 was just TOO much for me to handle...my chemistry professor was NOT a good professor and she made EVERYTHING harder than it really was, over half of the class had to drop her !!! NURE 130 was pretty easy if you just read on your own because the Prof. does not go over medical terminology and limited calculations (not from the book) :typing. I did half of the semester and I had an "A" average between my quizzes and exams. I've heard that Nursing I wasn't "that hard" so I would try it out, I had an overall good experience :chuckle
  2. That is exactly what I'm trying to do now...:icon_roll But I figured what you said about 131 that I would link up with someone. I remember my mom getting "study buddies" for her nursing, and most likely or should I say hopefully I'll have some of my own
  3. well, i'm managing the best that i can....nure 130, bio 105, and eng 101 my grades are actually great...but che 113 is the m-o-n-s-t-e-r !!!! this class is going to drop my gpa...i plan on getting some tuturing to try to help me with my grades. i'm just not used to getting low c's and dare i say d's ...my head was spinning when i say my test/quiz/lab grades...i just have to go harder on "my grind"
  4. well i'm just 1/3 of the way done with the semester and my only support just dropped out !!!! we were in che 113, chel 113 & nure 130 together and now i feel a little lost/overwhelmed:banghead: without her! i truly underestimated che 113 and it kicking my butt....to put it mildly if i could drop the class i would...am i the only one that bit off more than she could chew?!?! any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated :bowingpur
  5. Hi Mi Mi! Yes, will NEED to have the invitation letter. So, your best bet is to wait for next semester to see if you'll get the invitation.
  6. Thanks Propranolo! Sheesh...well I want to this SOOOO bad and I guess I was a bit delusional about acing these classes :uhoh21: I knew it was going to be hard just but stats' alone but I know what I can do to assure that I will pass. Me and my sister will be in the program together, so I guess that will be support for studying, etc. So when does clinical start? And what exactly goes on during clinical; from what I read it's had to do with simulation and learing lab?
  7. To Career12 My sister just transferred from the nurisng program in HCCC in about May and she got accepted THIS semester for the nursing program and she still has some co requisite that she needs to cover for the program. So if the grades is good...then there should be no problem :typing
  8. Thanks RJMJ87!!!!! OMG!!!! That was real helpful!!! My overall GPA is high as well so I thought I would have an advantage...but to kiss the grades good bye is a big swallow sheesh....I do got my hands full!!! Well I guess if I finish all my courses from Spring to Summer I & II, I should be in good shape But at this point as long as I pass with decent grades...that's all that I can hope for...thanks again for the info
  9. CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! It appeared that class was the largest that I've seen in cpmparison with the previous class pictures . So how's the job aspect? Do Trinitas hire you directly or do you have to apply to posting...as business as usual? Thanks!!!! That really did help. That councelor just was SOOO negative about my course load! I feel that I am so far behind I was planning to still have a full course load next semester just to knock it out: Bio 106, Che 114, Psy 205 in conjunction with the following nursing program and the remainding of my classes I would take in summer/winter session. I think I do the best when my back is pushed against the wall (before and after ). I was reading the discription of the following NURE course BUT how much more difficult is it in comparison with NURE 130? I do have a medical background and I thought I would be able to use that for my advantage (MA, EKG, Phleb). Or am I just being "overconfident"?
  10. Thanks Milan for the info!!! I hope that it was just the Prof. who was like that cuz I also need to see my tests after I take them to see what I got wrong. So what school are you attending?
  11. I recently got accepted to Trinitas for this fall semester (Hurray!!! ) and I need some advise. I need to know how hard is NURE 130 because the councelors have TOTALLY discouraged me and rocked my faith in myself. I have a full course load: CHE 113 w/lab, BIO 105 w/lab, and ENG 101. When I registed, one of the councelors said, that she would "BET" money on me failing (THAT IS A DIRECT QUOTE)!!!!! I went into registarion confident but came out scared to death. What exactly am I getting myself into?!?!?
