I just graduated two weeks ago from nursing school and I still feel burned out. I can't even bring myself to start preparing for the boards. All my nursing content was completed Nov 25th. I think this last semester really took a toll on my brain and body. Please tell me this is normal and I will get over this feeling
Thank you nursestudent1980. I am glad to no that I am not alone. Goodluck with boards.
Thanks Pebbles,
Just wondering how things are going with you? Are you feeling better yet? I think I am... either that or the adrenaline of nursing exam + new job in ER + ACLS + pending PALS course is keeping me going lol. Hope things are good on your end and your exam went well:)
Omg, thank u SecondgenRN for asking I am doing wonderful. I went to Jamaica right after graduation and I stayed for 1 week. I took my boards on March 2nd and I found out that I passed on March 3rd, so now I am a RN. I had 75 questions, it took me 1hr and 30min and I was done. How are you doing? I hope all is well with you. Let's make sure we keep in touch. Take care an let me know how ur are doing from time to time.

I can totally relate!! I also graduated a couple of weeks ago and feel completely drained! I have been really tired lately- like I've been going and going for 3 years stressing about tests, work, my three kids, husband, trying to find time for everything. Now that it is over- it is surreal. I havent cracked a book yet to study for the NCLEX but am planning to do so the day the kids are back in school (JAN 5)
