Just got fired

This past Saturday i was working in the memory unit at an ALF. I was helping clean the tables and the other RA was taking another resident to the bathroom.. While i was cleaning and keeping an eye one resident who likes to stand up on her own. I turned around to through some trash away she wheeled herself to a residents room got up and i found her on the floor in a puddle of pee. So i called the nurse and got her up into her wheel chair. I took her to her room to clean her up and change her depend and cloths.

So today i go into work and the supervisor finds me after i punch in and tells me to go to the AED office. The AED tells me im being terminated for leaving this resident in wet clothes and depend. Now i know it was either the nurse that lied or the other RA that lied about this. SO my question is will this make it harder for me to find another job

:crying2::madface:

Hmm.

I don't think it would really affect your chances at being hired as a CNA since they're so in demand. I've known CNAs terminated and they've found other CNA jobs. Just as long as they don't press any dependent adult abuse charges or something.

Nope! You'll find another job in no time.
