Good luck! with the cpne. i'm nowhere near that part i've had to take sometime off from school, but ill be restarting back very soon.

LYNDAA, I just read through my confirmation package. I will need to drive 14 miles from Southern Regional hospital to a different peds hospital in order to perform my AOC for a pediatric patient. Did you have to do this? I'm a little annoyed by this. As if I won't be stressed enough:/

No, we didn't have to make the drive. I had heard a rumor that this location substituted the child PCS with a third adult PCS since the facility did not have a PEDs unit. That's one of the reasons that I chose this location. I have NEVER worked with kids and I really wanted to keep it that way. Now, that was in 2010. I don't know if the practice has changed here now or not. The reason we were given was due to the snow. (There is a God!!! LOL! I really did not want to put my hands on a child!)

Sorry for the delayed response. My internet connection keeps going in and out and the guys can't come out until Monday to check it. Really irritating!!!
