In my opinion the best thing right now is to enjoy your freedom. But if you must and want to get a jump. Start learning some med terms, med abbreviations if you want, work on some conversions for when you start learning to give meds. Don't go head strong into reading chapters because there may be some things your teacher may not really care for you to know. Congrats!! and welcome to the world of Nursing

I also advise you to relax before school starts. You might want to do some light reading on stress reduction and study habits. Formulate a plan for studying: where, how, gathering of supplies, etc. Learn stress reduction techniques and start practicing them. Good luck on your new path. Hope you enjoy school.

Indeed... definitely need to relax before you start your program. Because once you start, then its serious business.

This is my first semester in the LVN program and have put some of my homework in flashcard form at flashcarddb.com. I am crochetangel there. You can assess others flashcards by using a keyword like pharmacology or crochetangel to view mine or make your own.
Thanks for the flash card web site....great stuff.

Thanks for the website. I don't know if I've been accepted to school yet, but if I do get accepted, I'm going to use this site to get a head start. Thanks so much for sharing.
