Just Got my Acceptance letter

Hello all, Im soooo happy I GOT IN!!!!

I didnt think i would, but it happened. Now, i have a question... My first class is just Pharmacology. Has anyone taken this. I need some input on what i can be looking at before class starts on aug. 19. Any Suggestions or good websites out there. I heard Pharmacology is extremely hard and alot of people fail this course. What do u guys think?

Do you mean you just got accepted to nursing school? You might want to post your thread in the "Nursing Student" forum. The forum you posted in here is for nurses who just graduated and are in our first year of working as a nurse, so you probably won't get many responses here.

There is a book out there that helped me tremendously, pharmacology made incredibly easy is the name. I picked it up on an auction site pretty cheap, less than 10 bucks. Be glad you are taking an actual pharmacolgy class, that was not required as a prerec nor was it required for graduation in my program. I had to learn it on my own. So pay attention, you will use it more than you know!!

Good luck!

My best friend is my palm with all my drugs on it. It is a quick reference on the floor ( or in clinical) It gives the quick info on a drug. I used it to make flash cards in school. I use the epocrates program, you connect to your commputer every day and it will download new info, drugs, ect.

Some helpful things for you: Pharmacology Made Incredibly Easy & also pharm NCLEX books could even help you during your pharm course. Good luck. :)
