Just found out I passed NCLEX.. When will my NY license # be posted?

Hey everyone,

I'm so happy to say that I found out this morning that I passed the NCLEX!!! Does anyone from NY know how long it takes to receive a license # online?

Does anyone have an idea of how long the process takes if I submitted my application for licensure *before* taking the NCLEX?? I got all my papers into the NYS BON in May, and took the NCLEX just last week. Does that improve my chances of getting my license any sooner? Gaaaah I just want a job!!! hahaha

I'm going through the same. Sent my paper work in July I call every week and they say wait 6 to 8 for processing. They story changes from either they didn't receive my schools paperwork to tell my school to send it or that my papers might be there and haven't been processed. Only can wait now anxiously .. Ughhh takes forever, right!?! I'm so stupid, I kind of just assumed that passing the NCLEX meant I was licensed, so I put it on my resume and sent it out right away after getting my test results... Now I'm worried I look like a liar to all these employers. Crap.... I hope this doesn't take too long.

It figure nys very slow , it's crazy how other states have a way to check your application status online and even apply online but nys still uses paper apps and makes you call. My classmates who took their nclex waited 2 weeks after taking the test to get the license and having their names added to the online verification site.

I can't believe how backed up New York is! I had to call and *ask* for my ATT, and they told me that they're so behind on processing forms, they don't take calls on Tuesdays and Thursdays so they can take care of older requests... Killin meee!!!

Yup after 1 they stop taking calls Tuesday and thursdays .. And minimum wait on the phone is 25 to 30 minutes . I called for my att they keep

Saying they haven't received my schools form but they have my form and my money lol such a coincidence

I wonder the same thing. I took my nclex in Sept 13, knew my result on the 15th showing that I passed. However, I'm waiting for BON to post my license no. but nothing show up and it almost 3 weeks since I took my nclex. I wonder how long do I have to wait since my job will be started in Oct 8. Do you guys have any suggestion? Im afraid that I will not be able to start my new job because of their delay.

Really need HELP!!!

NY will tell you they're 3 weeks behind after being on hold for 1 hr per call...
