Just Finished TEAS Test

Published

I just finished the TEAS test and scored a 93.5% Adjusted Individual Score!

If anyone has questions, I may be able to answer them.

I would definitely get Version 3 then. I took the version 4 test, but had the version 5 book. I still got a good score. From what I've heard version 5 is heavy on science.

Darn! OK thanks again!! Is it really as hard as I am making it out to be in my head??

Version 5 is the hard test. The national average on that test is in the 60% or something close. From what I've heard version 5 is the hardest of the TEAS tests.

I took version 5. I heard that it was the hardest version as well, but i didn't take any other version, so i can't really compare. The test was nothing to laugh at, that's for sure. I scored an 88.7%.

Well good for you guys taking it!! :w00t:

Yes from what I understand 5 is the hardest. At this school I am wanting to get in, I was told you need a 75 overall to pass and can not get less then 68 in math to be considered. Maybe they are not using V5 because of the difficulty passing?? But I am still also confused about why they aren't including science.

But if I do really good on the other subjects, I can go back and take it in a few weeks. If I don't do good in anything, then I can go back and take it in 3-6 months. Or I can take the MA course for a year. I doubt I won't do good in Reading or English.

I am trying really hard to get in ASAP. Luckily, I have the advantage to go full time day and I want to grab this opportunity.

Did either one of you get accepted anywhere and are you taking LPN courses or RN? I am ready for all the hard work and long hours, but if there is any good advise you have, please feel free to let me know. Any information is much appreciated!! :redbeathe

I just got accepted to UNF's BSN program.

I'm waiting to get in the a 2nd degree ABSN school. 1 year wait, I have all As in my prerequisites and a 94% on the TEAS. It's hard to get into nursing school in California, there's such a glut of nurses it's sickening.

Good for you both!! That sounds so hard to have all A's!! Good job!! That is one long wait!!! I hope that somehow you dont have to wait a whole year, especially since you have such good grades and a high score on the TEAS!

I am really wanting to get a really high score on the TEAS and get really good grades to continue to the RN program.. I know you have more then one chance, but of course I would like to get a high score on the first try! Does anyone suggest buying that practice test on the ATI site? I'm a little tight on money, butif it is worth the $35, I will buy it.

I am going this route by going to Eastwick because it is a really good program here in NJ,less wait time too bc they start new classes every 4 months...plus a bridge to RN. But I am sure I will keep going after that too. Just taking one step at a time!

Iam happy you are applying to eastwick that is where Iam also going.I am going to take my placement exam before I would be allowed to take the Teas Exam. can you please, tell me how theTeas test was? i am also a book worm too but iam scared about how people are talking about the Teas test. I hope you would be able to help me by telling me what to study in the manual that will help me and if we all get through we will help each other.
