Just finished nclex rn today

Published

I just came back from the nclex. I burst into tears when i got out. I got 163 or 165 questions and the computer shuts off. 4 SATA, 3 Put in order, tons of who to see first, tons of delegation, NO MATHS PEOBLEM, tons of medication most med is off tv. and tons of priortization. I prayed before and after........

Im nervous but feel like i pass im just having faith. I felt like I went to war with nclex and just saved 163 -165 dying patient.

:saint:

I feel the same way about the SATA's two in a row for me as well. I just hope I can put this behind me and move on with this chapter in my life.

Good luck to you all. I too took the NCLEX RN today 75 Q's Tons of Sata's some times two in a row (not nice at all). No math, 1 put in order, no fill in the blank. no point to an area. I feel like a third of the test was Sata.

I too took nclex yesterday got shut of at 163ish questions. no math questions, lots of prioritization, 4 sata, 3 put in order. im waitng for my result i will keep you in my prayers as well. Good luck to you and just believe you pass.

You are lucky with the drugs. I not only had only 2 drugs I heard about in school the others were meds I NEVER heard of. I had NOTHING from TV. I had to guess at most of them. I didn't even get the ones with the obvious ending that give you the idea of what class they are.

I feel like I was screwed on the drugs. I actually think it's unreasonable be able to test on any drug they want when the schools don't know which ones to focus on and could possibly not cover a single one on the test.

I feel like they should publish a list to the schools of drugs to consider teaching. They don't have to just list the drugs they test on but list them with others so that there's some chance the important ones are being tested mixed in with others. This way you don't know for certain the drugs on there but you have a shot of knowing them.

If I failed it's because of the meds. I feel confident in the other areas but the meds...I had no hope of knowing them.

Dont worry just think positive, I was told by a Coordinator that there are other pharm questions that will make you pass without getting all of your meds right eg. questions about tpn, tube feeding, giving injections ext. so just keep on having faith with me we are going to pass and we are going to be a rn. If you believe in the same person I do He will not bring us this far to leave us......Hope to hear when you pass. :yeah:
